makes: 1 bowl
prep: 10 minutes 

ingredients:

for the bowl: 

  • 3/4 cup water 
  • 1 heaping cup frozen mango chunks 
  • 1 frozen banana  
  • 1/2 avocado 
  • 1/2-inch piece peeled ginger, or to taste 
  • 1 cup packed fresh baby spinach 
  • 1 small orange, peeled 
  • 1 pitted Medjool date 
  • 3 ice cubes 
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder 
  • 1 scoop of simply tera’s organic whey protein, plain unsweetened

toppings:  

  • fresh mango, diced  
  • granola of choice 
  • raspberries 
  • hemp hearts 
  • coconut shreds  

directions:  

  1. add the water, mango, banana, avocado, ginger, spinach, orange, date, ice, matcha powder and simply tera’s organic plain unsweetened whey into a high-speed blender.
  2. blend all of the ingredients together on speed 7 for about 3-5 minutes until it has a smooth consistency. 
  3. pour the mixture into a bowl and add toppings as desired. 
  4. serve and enjoy!
