orange creamsicle smoothie

Makes: 1 smoothie
Prep: 10 minutes

ingredients:

  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced (get another one for garnish slices)
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¾ cup greek yogurt
  • 2 scoops simply tera’s pure whey protein, bourbon vanilla 
  • ice cubes, as needed
  • optional: coconut or oat milk, whipped cream or greek yogurt to top

directions:

  1. in a blender, combine the peeled and sliced orange, orange juice, frozen banana, greek yogurt, and simply tera’s pure bourbon vanilla whey protein powder.
  2. add ice cubes according to your desired thickness.
  3. blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  4. taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more orange juice or ice cubes as needed.
  5. pour into glasses. top with coconut milk, some more greek yogurt or whipped cream! 
  6. garnish with orange zest, and fresh orange slices.
