Fair Trade Certified: Why it Matters
The natural product industry is crowded with a variety of verifications and certifications. While you might be familiar with the more popular USDA Organic or Gluten Free labels, you might not recognize Fair Trade Certified. But here’s why it matters.
Fair Trade USA is a nonprofit, third-party certifier of Fair Trade products in the United States. Their mission? Provide farmers around the world with the education and support to secure fair prices for goods, create safe working conditions and provide sustainable resources for local communities.
