5 Berry Tasty Ways to use Blueberries
Summer’s in full swing which means all of your favorite fruits are ripe and ready to be devoured. While blueberries from the bowl are summer’s quintessential snack, there are a ton of ways to get your healthy dose of antioxidants. From frozen yogurt pops to barbecued chicken, blueberries have never looked this good. Switch things up this summer with these 5 berry tasty ideas that you have to try!
1. Tropical protein popsicles
Cool down this summer with these fruity & creamy popsicles that are a new tera’s team favorite!
Makes 4 popsicles
- 4 popsicle molds
- 1 container (about 2/3 c.) of coconut greek yogurt – we used Chobani’s blended Coconut
- ½ c. peaches (frozen)
- ½ c. strawberries
- Handful of blueberries
- 1 T chia seeds
- 2 scoops (1 serving) tera’swhey bourbon vanilla whey protein
- 4 oz. (a little less than ½ c.) unsweetened almond milk
Mix the almond milk and protein powder alone first in a shaker bottle (a water bottle or blender will also work okay).
Mix and all remaining ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth yet thick liquid forms.
Optional: before you pour the mix into the molds, feel free to add extra full blueberries to your popsicles if you want whole fruit in the center.
Freeze until solid (usually a few hours) and enjoy!
